Our Summer 2010 issue deadline for new advertisers is Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Artwork due April 5, 2010. Please contact your account executive for details.
Cancellations must be received in writing by February 28, 2010.


Double Page Trim: 8"x7"--Double Page Live Area: 7.5"x6.5"
Double Page Bleed: 8.5"x7.5"
Full Page Trim: 4"x 7"––Full Page Live Area: 3.5"x 6.5"
Full Page Bleed: 4.5"x 7.5"
Half Page Live Area: 3"x 3"
Quarter Page - 3’’x 1.5"

Digital: Ads meeting the following qualifications can be accepted on disk.

Provide ad on media compatible with Mac platform––Zip 100, CD, Jaz, or floppy.

Ad files must be supplied in Quark Express, Illustrator, or Photoshop.

Use only 4 color (CMYK) process colors––NO RGB, spot colors, or
unseparated PMS colors––and provide a matchprint, color proof for all 4 color ads; send black and white proof for black and white ads.

Include Type 1 media fonts and screen fonts (NO TRUE TYPE fonts),support files, and images with 300dpi resolution.

Include a list of disk contents as a "Print Window".

Clients will be notified of problems detected and given an opportunity to send corrected files or incur charges at prevailing rates.

Perfect Wedding Guide is not responsible for the content or accuracy of a file on disk.

If you would like us to create your ad. . .
We will need to receive some materials from you so that our art department has the resources to create an ad that is perfect for your business. If you have any ideas in mind, please supply those ideas along with any or all of the following:

• Camera ready logo. Crisp letterhead or business card will help in
the case that we must re- create it for you. (Fees May Apply)
• Original photos, transparencies, slides or digital files.
• Any text to be included in ad such as address, phone number,website address, bullet points, etc.
• Brochures or previously composed ads will also assist us.

Let us know your email address so that we can furnish you with a 4- color or black & white proof for your approval.

All Front Covers will be produced in- house, please send photo for scanning.

Other Accepted File Formats (Mac format)
• .tif • .psd • .eps • .ps (postscript file)
• .pdf (High Resolution- 300dpi) Please embed all fonts.
• QuarkXpress 5.0 or lower

Software Programs (Mac format)
• Adobe Photoshop 6.1 or lower
• Adobe Illustrator 10 or lower- With converted outline fonts
• Acrobat 5.0 or lower • QuarkXpress 5.0 or lower


Important Be sure to include all linked images and all screen and printer fonts. Placed images should be saved at a minimum of 300 pixels/ inch, as either EPS or TIFF formats and should be CMYK or Grayscale. All ads are full process color unless otherwise specified by the advertiser. Any files from the World Wide Web (72 dpi JPEGs and GIFs) will not be accepted. All electronic documents must be accompanied by a print of the ad. Without print- out and files submitted exactly to our specifications we are not responsible for any problems with the ad. (If we have to modify your ad you may be responsible for up to full production rates.


To FTP an ad please follow the instructions below.


Please email us at csar@PWG.com and AngelaH@PWG.com once your file(s) is ready for retrieval and in the subject line of your email, please indicate to us which market the file(s) is for and indicate the client name as well (i.e. Cincinnati PWG....XYZ Florist ad). In addition (very important), in the body of your email....please provide us with the exact file name(s) that we will need to download, in order to complete your download request. I'll check for the file first thing in the morning.
